Valletta, the capital of the Republic of Malta, is one of my favourite cities in Europe. The entire city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980 and was elected for the European Capital of Culture in 2018.

Valletta is a fascinating destination with many highlights and easy to explore on foot in just one day. I started my camera tour from the Triton Fountain, and then continued through the city gate into the historic old town. The city is elegant and impressive at the same time – and with the editing of my shots and especially the music, I tried to express these feelings.
