ONE DAY IN MILTENBERG (GERMANY) | 4K UHD | The beautiful old town of the “Pearl on the Main”

After introducing you to big cities with millions of inhabitants in my last videos, my latest video is about a much smaller but at least as beautiful town in Germany: Miltenberg, which is also called the „Pearl on the Main“ with its historic old town.

I can still remember the day of the shoot. It was one of the hottest summer days when I went to Miltenberg with two friends. It was almost 40 degrees Celsius in the shade, and it felt even hotter because there was no wind at all.

But it was worth it. We had never been to Miltenberg before, and we found it simply fabulously beautiful. You almost feel as if you are in another world, which makes you forget all the stress. The fact that you broke into a sweat with every step you took was somehow no longer a bad thing at all; the calm and relaxed atmosphere of Miltenberg had won us over. And since my camera kept asking for a break due to overheating, we also had many opportunities to refresh ourselves with cool drinks. 😉

Historic Miltenberg, first mentioned in a document in 1237, is located on the German Half-Timbered Houses Route, which connects unique landscapes, historical sites and lovingly restored monuments over a distance of around 3,500 km. The town has about 9,300 inhabitants and lies in a picturesque landscape between the hills of Spessart and Odenwald. The many medieval half-timbered houses, atmospheric alleys, churches and the Mildenburg castle towering over the town create a wonderful atmosphere, which I hope I was able to capture for you with my camera.
