ONE DAY IN CARINTHIA (AUSTRIA) PART 1 | 4K UHD | Beautiful & relaxing experience by drone

Carinthia is the southernmost province of Austria and is best known for its mountain and lake scenery. Anyone who travels to Carinthia will experience the spectacular nature and be amazed. The country has a lot to offer – many turquoise blue lakes and an impressive number of mountain ranges: including the Karawanken, the Gurktaler Alps and the Carnic Alps, just to name a few.

In the first part, we take a closer look at the Rosental. It is about 40 kilometres long and lies in the south of the country between Rosegg and Gallizien and between the Sattnitz mountain range and the Karawanken, shaped by the Drau river. In the past, the Drau in the Rosental in Carinthia was a wild river. Today, regulated by the dam power plants, it is a wide river that meanders leisurely through the Rosental. The banks are left in their natural state. Very close to the Drava is the Sankt Johann bathing lake, which impressed me very much with its powerful turquoise-blue water. After that, some beautiful shots around Maria Rain await you.
