New York is world-famous – everyone knows the city. No wonder, because the city has so many incredibly beautiful views to offer, in every season and by day and by night.
Unfortunately, I’ve never been to New York myself, but I’m a big fan of the city. And so it was a great honour and pleasure for me to have the opportunity to create a video with insanely great shots of New York. I was able to put together shots that maybe not everyone has seen: For example, Central Park in the most beautiful autumn colours and the skyline in great sunrises and sunsets, as well as incredibly fascinating shots at night. I especially enjoyed creating and editing the scenes with the tracking shots between the skyscrapers.
I put a lot of time and effort into my new video. You might not think that working with footage from other cinematographers is just as time-consuming as creating a video from my own footage. Choosing the shots, the music, putting them together, arranging, editing, and especially connecting them with the music is a very time-consuming challenge every time. But I am happy about every opportunity to express myself creatively, and I like the result very much, so I want to share it with you.
