With an impressive architectural heritage and an incomparable atmosphere, Venice is undoubtedly one of the most famous cities in Italy. The city exudes an incredible Renaissance feel. When you come to Venice, you very quickly get the impression that you are entering a work of art.
The entire city, which is largely made up of historic buildings, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987. Probably the most famous square in Venice is St Mark’s Square. The “Piazza San Marco” is 82 metres wide and 175 metres long and is located directly on the Grand Canal. St Mark’s Basilica is also located here. The city’s central main square is often described as the most beautiful square in the world and has been the city’s landmark for centuries as well as the scene of important religious and other celebrations.
With my video, I have tried to capture the many different impressions. Venice is full of beautiful, crowded, quiet, noisy, romantic and hectic places and impressive sights, so I had the idea of using shots at different speeds and editing them dynamically. I plan to create more videos about Venice to show even more of the city. I would also like to create a video about Burano. But it will take a while until then, so stay tuned.
