As if you were walking through another world: ALBEROBELLO in Italy!

Alberobello is one of the most extraordinary places in Italy – a labyrinth of whitewashed trulli, narrow lanes, and an atmosphere you have to experience to understand.

For this video, I got up at four in the morning and took the first bus to Alberobello. I arrived before sunrise and had to wait until the first light appeared. With the very first sunlight came the reward: I was completely alone in the streets – for several hours.

This special silence, the empty alleys, the soft light slowly moving across the trulli roofs – all of it created a magical mood that I want to express especially in the first half of the video.

In this film, I take you on a calm, cinematic walk through Alberobello. And I hope that through my camera work, the editing, and the music, I can give you the feeling of walking through this unique UNESCO World Heritage site yourself and experiencing its magic in the morning light.

Alberobello gehört zu den außergewöhnlichsten Orten Italiens – ein Labyrinth aus weiß getünchten Trulli, engen Gassen und einer Atmosphäre, die man erleben muss.

Für dieses Video bin ich bereits um vier Uhr morgens aufgestanden und mit dem ersten Bus nach Alberobello gefahren. Noch vor dem Sonnenaufgang kam ich in der Stadt an und musste zunächst warten, bis das erste Licht sich zeigte. Mit dem ersten Sonnenlicht kam dann die Belohnung: Ich war vollkommen allein in den Gassen – über mehrere Stunden hinweg.

Diese besondere Stille, die leeren Straßen, das sanfte Licht, das langsam über die Dächer der Trulli wanderte – all das hat eine fast magische Stimmung geschaffen, die ich besonders in der ersten Hälfte des Videos ausdrücken möchte.

In diesem Film nehme ich dich mit auf einen ruhigen, cineastischen Ausflug durch Alberobello. Und ich hoffe, dass es mir mit meinen Kameraeinstellungen, dem Schnitt und der Verknüpfung mit der Musik gelingt, dir das Gefühl zu vermitteln, selbst durch diese einzigartige UNESCO-Welterbestätte zu gehen und ihre Magie im Morgenlicht zu erleben.
