How about a drone journey through CARINTHIA (AUSTRIA)?
Carinthia is the southernmost province of Austria and is best known for its mountain and lake scenery. Anyone who travels to Carinthia will experience the spectacular nature and be amazed. The country has a lot to offer – many turquoise blue lakes and an impressive number of mountain ranges: including the Karawanken, the Gurktaler Alps and the Carnic Alps, just to name a few.
In the first part, we take a closer look at the Rosental. It is about 40 kilometres long and lies in the south of the country between Rosegg and Gallizien and between the Sattnitz mountain range and the Karawanken, shaped by the Drau river. In the past, the Drau in the Rosental in Carinthia was a wild river. Today, regulated by the dam power plants, it is a wide river that meanders leisurely through the Rosental. The banks are left in their natural state. Very close to the Drava is the Sankt Johann bathing lake, which impressed me very much with its powerful turquoise-blue water. Kärnten ist das südlichste Bundesland von Österreich und ist vor allem durch seine Berg- und Seenlandschaft bekannt. Wer Kärnten bereist, wird die spektakuläre Natur erleben und staunen. Das Land hat viel zu bieten – viele türkisblaue Seen und eine beachtliche Anzahl an Gebirgszügen: darunter die Karawanken, die Gurktaler Alpen und die Karnischen Alpen, um nur ein paar zu nennen.
Im ersten Teil schauen wir uns das Rosental etwas genauer an. Es ist rund 40 Kilometer lang liegt im Süden des Landes zwischen Rosegg und Gallizien, eingebettet zwischen dem Sattnitzzug und den Karawanken, geprägt vom Draufluss. Früher war die Drau im Rosental in Kärnten ein wilder Fluss. Heute ist er geregelt durch die Staukraftwerke ein breiter Fluss, der sich gemächlich durch das Rosental schlängelt. Das Ufer ist naturbelassen. Ganz in der Nähe zur Drau liegt der Badesee Sankt Johann, der mich mit seinem kräftigen türkisblauen Wasser sehr beeindruckt hat. Danach warten einige wunderschöne Aufnahmen rund um Maria Rain auf Dich.
