Hello, my name is Mike and I welcome you to MYGEMPICTURES. I am glad to have you here.
This channel is made for sharing my passion with you. I’m totally into discovering beautiful places, cities, countries, cultures and people. I want to present all this to you in a form of short, entertaining videos where sights and sounds are a perfect match. Videos that may encourage you to see the world through my eyes. While many people nowadays spend a lot of time to figure out what they don’t like, I prefer to highlight what excites me. I believe it’s important to focus the beauty and positive aspects of our surroundings.
Especially in my ‘ONE DAY IN…’ video series, I introduce you to cities and places worth seeing that fascinate me. In my videos, I want to make each place as vivid and tangible as possible for you. With varied shots, different camera angles and cuts, I try to create the feeling as if you were there and experiencing the atmosphere by yourself. I attach great importance to merging the video recordings and the music into a harmonious whole. My aim is to take you on an inspiring journey of discovery.
My videos are not typical travel guide videos with a lot of texts and detailed information. Instead, I would like to make you curious about the places and to get you dreaming. My videos should be an invitation to be open to new impressions, to discover a fascination for new places and to sharpen your eye for all the beautiful things that surround us. And the response so far has been overwhelming. I really appreciate the constructive feedback and creative ideas I receive.
For me, filming and creating videos is not just a hobby. And what is a hobby other than a source of joy – for myself and for others? If I manage to bring a smile to just one person’s face through a video, every minute of work has been worth it.

Mit meinem Kanal möchte ich meine Leidenschaft mit Dir teilen, schöne und sehenswerte Orte, Städte, Länder, Kulturen und Menschen zu entdecken und Dir mit kurzen, unterhaltsamen Videos zu präsentieren. Videos, die dich ermutigen sollen, die Welt durch meine Augen zu sehen. Während viele Menschen heutzutage viel Zeit damit verbringen, hervorzuheben, was sie nicht mögen, ziehe ich es vor, das zu betonen, was mich begeistert. Ich glaube, dass es wichtig ist, sich auf das zu konzentrieren, was uns erfreut und begeistert.
Besonders in meiner „ONE DAY IN…“-Videoserie stelle ich Dir sehenswerte Städte und Orte vor, die mich faszinieren. In meinen Videos möchte ich jeden Ort so lebendig und greifbar wie möglich für Dich gestalten. Mit abwechslungsreichen Kamerafahrten, verschiedenen Kameraeinstellungen und Schnitten versuche ich, das Gefühl zu schaffen, als würdest du selbst vor Ort sein und die Atmosphäre hautnah erleben. Dabei lege ich großen Wert darauf, die Videoaufnahmen und die Musik zu einer harmonischen Einheit zu verschmelzen. Mein Ziel ist es, die Schönheit und das Positive hervorzuheben und Dich auf eine inspirierende Entdeckungsreise mitzunehmen.
Dabei gehe ich bewusst nicht den Weg eines traditionellen Reiseführers mit ausführlichen Texten und detaillierten Informationen. Stattdessen ist es mein Ziel, Deine Neugier und Interesse an den Orten zu wecken und Dich auch ein wenig ins Träumen zu versetzen. Meine Videos sollen eine Einladung sein, offen für neue Eindrücke zu sein, die Faszination für neue Orte zu entdecken und den Blick für all die schönen Dinge, die uns umgeben, zu schärfen. Und die Resonanz war bisher überwältigend. Ich schätze das konstruktive Feedback und die kreativen Ideen, die ich bekomme, sehr.
Für mich ist das Filmen und Erstellen von Videos nicht nur ein Hobby, sondern eine Leidenschaft, die ich nebenberuflich pflege. Und was ist ein Hobby anderes als eine Quelle der Freude – für mich selbst und für andere? Wenn es mir gelingt, durch ein Video auch nur einem einzigen Menschen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zu zaubern, hat sich jede Minute der Arbeit schon gelohnt.
