KRAKÓW – Historic charm in Poland’s former capital

Krakow – a city full of history, magic, and majestic beauty. Back in 2018, I visited this fascinating place and published my video “One Day in Krakow” – it was the third installment of my One-Day-in series. Since then, a lot has changed. The series has grown, my style has evolved – and your feedback has helped shape that journey.

In my earliest videos, I used very strong color filters. Many of you wished for more natural visuals – and I took that to heart for this remake. I wanted to show Krakow again: with more depth, more calm, more music, and many more perspectives of this stunning city.

This new video is longer, more immersive, and more atmospheric. I chose music carefully to match the mood of each scene and neighborhood – sometimes historic, sometimes charming, sometimes majestic. Because for me, Krakow is all of that: a former royal capital with rich cultural heritage, grand architecture, and unmistakable flair.

Whether it’s the imposing Wawel Castle, the old town with Rynek Główny – Europe’s largest medieval market square – the Jewish district Kazimierz, or the quiet flow of the Vistula River: this video invites you on a rich and soulful walk through one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.

I’m truly happy to share this remake with you – as a tribute to a city I deeply admire, and as a reflection of how far this project has come.

Krakau – eine Stadt voller Geschichte, Magie und majestätischer Schönheit. Bereits 2018 habe ich diese faszinierende Stadt besucht und mein Video „One Day in Kraków“ veröffentlicht – es war damals mein drittes Video dieser Reihe. Seitdem hat sich die Serie weiterentwickelt, mein Stil hat sich verändert – und euer Feedback hat mich auf diesem Weg begleitet.

In meinen allerersten Videos habe ich mit sehr starken Farbfiltern gearbeitet. Viele von euch haben sich damals gewünscht, die Aufnahmen natürlicher zu gestalten – und genau das nehme ich mir in diesem Remake zu Herzen. Ich wollte Krakau erneut zeigen: intensiver, ruhiger, musikalisch vielfältiger – und mit noch mehr Blickwinkeln auf diese beeindruckende Stadt.

Dieses neue Video ist länger, tiefgehender und atmosphärischer. Ich habe Musiken ausgewählt, die zu den einzelnen Stadtteilen und Momenten passen – mal historisch, mal charmant, mal majestätisch. Denn Krakau ist für mich all das: eine ehemalige Königsstadt mit einem reichen kulturellen Erbe, prachtvoller Architektur und einem unverwechselbaren Flair.

Ob die imposante Wawelburg, die Altstadt mit dem Rynek Główny – dem größten mittelalterlichen Marktplatz Europas –, das jüdische Viertel Kazimierz oder das leise Treiben an der Weichsel: Dieses Video nimmt euch mit auf einen intensiven Spaziergang durch eine der schönsten Städte Europas.

Ich freue mich sehr, euch dieses Remake präsentieren zu können – als Hommage an eine Stadt, die ich ganz besonders schätze, und als Weiterentwicklung eines Projekts, das mit viel Herzblut begonnen hat.
