Self-Reflection: Follow Mario Belón’s wonderful voice to a journey in your mind and soul.

A positive view of one’s own life is the real key to success. Self-reflection trains self-awareness to a high degree and thus opens up completely new potentials to sustainably influence one’s own future, both privately and professionally. The central question is: Who am I? 

The goal is to learn more about yourself and to understand yourself better. Only those who know themselves and know about their strengths, weaknesses, preferences and idiosyncrasies are in a position to objectively perceive and analyse their own behaviour and make the necessary changes in behaviour. Self-reflective people know their attitude to life and have often developed a very individual attitude to deal with the increasing external determination in today’s consumer and performance society. What one invests in oneself will pay off many times over later.

With the text for this video, Mario F. Belón Valdivia – Mario Belón for short – has created a kind of question guide for talking to yourself and learning more about yourself. His warm and pleasant voice is touching in its very own way. I could listen to him for much longer. 

The video is based on my earlier video “Urban Perspectives 1”. Mario has written and spoken a text for this video, and the result is “My: Reflection”. Even while editing and combining the voice recordings with the video material, I was personally pleasantly emotionally touched. And I am happy if this effect is also transferred to you as a viewer. As the saying goes? It’s never too late to try to change something in life for the better.

If Mario’s voice sounds familiar to you, you can often hear him on television in various projects, for example in the ING DiBa commercial. I am all the more pleased that he lends his great voice to a rather small channel like mine. By the way, this is already the second collaboration, another video with Mario’s thoughts and voice on my channel is “DESTINATION: UNKNOWN | Are you still dreaming your life? Or are you living your dream?” For me, another example of how a perfect voice can underline the emotional impact of a text in a way that is both pleasant and stimulating.

Eine positive Sicht auf das eigene Leben ist der eigentliche Schlüssel zum Erfolg. Selbstreflexion schult in hohem Maße die Selbstwahrnehmung und eröffnet somit ganz neue Potenziale, die eigene Zukunft, privat wie beruflich, nachhaltig zu beeinflussen. Die zentrale Frage dabei lautet: Wer bin ich? 

Das Ziel ist, mehr über sich selbst zu erfahren und sich besser zu verstehen. Nur wer sich selbst kennt und über seine Stärken, Schwächen, Vorlieben und Eigenarten Bescheid weiß, ist in der Lage, das eigene Verhalten objektiv wahrzunehmen, zu analysieren und notwendige Verhaltensänderungen vorzunehmen. Selbst reflektierte Menschen kennen ihre Haltung zum Leben und haben oftmals eine ganz individuelle Einstellung entwickelt, mit der zunehmenden Fremdbestimmung in der heutigen Konsum- und Leistungsgesellschaft umzugehen. Was man in sich selbst investiert, wird sich später um ein Vielfaches auszahlen.

Mario F. Belón Valdivia – kurz Mario Belón – hat mit dem Text zu diesem Video eine Art Fragen-Anleitung geschaffen, um mit sich selbst ins Gespräch zu gehen und mehr über sich zu erfahren. Dabei berührt seine warmherzige und angenehme Stimme auf ihre ganz eigene Weise. Ich könnte ihm noch viel länger zuhören. 

Das Video basiert auf meinem früheren Videobeitrag „Urban Perspectives 1“. Hier hat Mario nun einen eigenen Text beigesteuert, den er auch selbst eingesprochen hat. Das Ergebnis ist „Meine: Reflexion“. Schon beim Schneiden und Kombinieren der Sprachaufnahmen mit dem Videomaterial war ich persönlich angenehm emotional berührt. Und ich freue mich, wenn sich diese Wirkung auch auf Dich als Zuschauer überträgt. Wie heißt es doch so schön? Es ist nie zu spät für einen Versuch, etwas im Leben zum Positiven zu verändern.

Falls Dir Marios Stimme bekannt vorkommt: Man kann ihn des Öfteren im Fernsehen in verschiedenen Projekten hören, zum Beispiel im Werbespot der ING DiBa. Um so mehr freut es mich, dass er seine großartige Stimme einem eher kleinen Kanal wie dem meinen leiht. Es ist übrigens inzwischen schon die zweite Zusammenarbeit, ein weiteres Video mit Marios Gedanken und Stimme auf meinem Kanal ist „DESTINATION: UNKNOWN | Träumst Du noch Dein Leben? Oder lebst Du Deinen Traum?“ Für mich ein weiteres Beispiel dafür, wie eine perfekte Stimme die emotionale Wirkung eines Textes ebenso angenehm wie anregend unterstreichen kann.
