LUBLIN – I love this beautiful old town!
Lublin Old Town amazes with its authenticity, with its fascinating history, cobbled streets, beautiful corners, colorful townhouses with many details and a vibrant architecture. There are over 110 monuments on 1 square kilometre, and most of them have retained their original shape. Lublin is undoubtedly worth a visit.
The history of Lublin began in the Middle Ages, when the town was a trade settlement and a guard post on the eastern border of a young Polish state. The first written information about it dates back to the 12th century, and then in 1317 it was granted city rights.
For me, Lublin was a great destination as it allowed me to fully enjoy my love for historic old cities. And that’s exactly what I focused on in my video.

Die Altstadt von Lublin besticht durch ihre tolle Atmosphäre, ihre faszinierende Geschichte, viele farbenfrohe Gebäude und überhaupt eine sehr lebendige Architektur: Auf einem Quadratkilometer gibt es über 110 Denkmäler zu bestaunen, von denen die meisten in ihrer ursprünglichen Form bewahrt werden konnten. Lublin ist zweifelsohne einen Besuch wert.
Die Geschichte Lublins begann im Mittelalter, als die Stadt eine Handelssiedlung und ein Wachposten an der Ostgrenze des jungen polnischen Staates war. Die ersten schriftlichen Erwähnungen Lublins stammen aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, und 1317 wurden ihr die Stadtrechte verliehen.
Für mich war Lublin ein tolles Reiseziel, da ich hier meine Liebe für historische Altstädte voll und ganz geniessen konnte. Und genau darauf habe ich mich in meinem Video fokussiert.
